Day one of Ohayocon has not gone as planned. Partially due to my procrastination. I managed to forget that I need to work on the bangs for both wigs I was planning to use. I tried to get one in shape today, but it didn’t work.
That got me thinking. Why am I in such a rush to get these costumes debuted? The wigs aren’t done. I haven’t worn any of them. Ever.
Killing time between panels got me thinking. I am going to stop rushing to get costumes done. I’m going to spend time and get them done right. I want to be wearing a costume I am proud of.
I’m going to go with comfy clothes for the rest of the convention. It just feels right. And hopefully I’ll learn more at the panels and can make my costumes how I’m envisioning them.
